Security Operations

Junior SOC Analyst

Canada Full-time · Hybrid

Monitor SIEM, EDR, and IDS platforms to detect and respond to security threats in a shift-based SOC environment. An ideal entry point for candidates with a security mindset and a passion for defensive operations.

Cybersecurity SIEM Incident Response Entry Level

As a Junior SOC Analyst at ITOsupport, you will be the first line of defence in our 24/7 security operations centre. Working alongside experienced analysts, you will gain hands-on exposure to enterprise-grade security tooling and develop the skills needed to advance your cybersecurity career.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and triage alerts generated by SIEM, EDR, and IDS/IPS platforms on a shift rotation
Investigate security events, escalate incidents where required, and document findings clearly
Support the containment and remediation of confirmed security incidents
Maintain and update SOC runbooks, playbooks, and incident logs
Participate in threat intelligence briefings and team knowledge-sharing sessions
Assist with vulnerability scanning and routine security health checks

Requirements

Foundational understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and operating systems
Exposure to SIEM platforms (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or similar) is an advantage
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Google Cybersecurity, or equivalent
Strong analytical mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work shift patterns including evenings and weekends on a rotational basis
A genuine passion for cybersecurity and a commitment to continuous learning

Nice to Have

Experience with SOAR or ticketing platforms (ServiceNow, Jira)
Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework
Previous exposure to a NOC or help desk environment

Transformation Change Management PMO Senior

This is a high-impact senior role within the Office of the CEO, leading complex, multi-stakeholder business transformation initiatives for our most strategic global clients. You will shape programme governance, drive change management across organisations, and act as a trusted advisor at the executive level.

Key Responsibilities

Lead full lifecycle delivery of business process transformation programmes from scoping through to benefits realisation
Design and implement change management strategies, stakeholder engagement plans, and communications frameworks
Build and govern programme management offices (PMOs), including RAID management, reporting, and steering committees
Partner with C-suite stakeholders to define target operating models and transformation roadmaps
Identify process improvement opportunities through data-driven analysis and structured methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)
Mentor and develop junior team members and client-side project managers
Contribute to pre-sales, proposals, and business development activities

Requirements

8+ years of experience in business transformation, management consulting, or programme management
Proven track record of delivering large-scale change initiatives within complex organisations
Strong knowledge of change management frameworks (Prosci/ADKAR, Kotter, or equivalent)
Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or MSP) highly desirable

Cybersecurity SIEM EDR/XDR Mid Level

As a SOC Analyst at ITOsupport, you will operate at the heart of our Global Security Team, protecting client environments through proactive threat hunting, incident response, and continuous security monitoring. You will also play a key mentoring role, helping to develop the next generation of security professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct advanced threat detection and investigation across SIEM, IDS, and EDR/XDR tooling
Lead incident response activities including containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident reviews
Perform proactive threat hunting using intelligence-led techniques and behavioural analytics
Develop and refine detection rules, alert thresholds, and SOC playbooks
Mentor and coach Junior SOC Analysts through escalations, knowledge transfer, and structured feedback
Produce clear and concise incident reports and security briefings for technical and non-technical audiences
Collaborate with client IT teams and third-party vendors during active incidents

Requirements

3+ years of hands-on experience in a SOC, CSIRT, or similar security operations environment
Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, QRadar, or equivalent)
Experience with EDR/XDR solutions (CrowdStrike Falcon, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, or similar)
Solid understanding of attacker techniques, tactics, and procedures (MITRE ATT&CK)
Relevant certifications: CompTIA CySA+, GIAC GCIH, EC-Council CEH, or equivalent
Ability to work shift patterns as part of a 24/7 SOC rotation

Nice to Have

Experience with SOAR platforms and automation scripting (Python, PowerShell)
Familiarity with cloud security monitoring (Azure, AWS, GCP)
